Regain Records

Based in the city Malmo, Sweden, Regain Records started in 1997 from the ashes of former label Wrong Again Records (In Flames, Arch Enemy, Spritual Beggars and Naglfar). In early 1997 Wrong Again Records decided to stop the release activity. In 1997 I started Regain Records. The two first releases was Deranged- High on Blood and Embraced- Amorous Anathema, they were both released in late 1997. The first two years were quite hard for the label, we were lacking of proper distribution. It was first when we rereleased the two first In Flames albums “Lunar Strain” and “Subterranean” that things started moving and following after that the co-operation with Marduk started in late 1999.

In the last couple of years Regain Records evolved to a very dynamic label in Europe with names like Samael, Marduk, Dark Funeral, Behemoth, Overkill among others aswell as a backcatalogue consisting of strong names like In Flames and Arch Enemy.

Regain Records goal is to grow and establish its name more and more.
Eventhough it is a hard market situation we do believe in the future.

Regain Records will always support the scene and try hard to release quality instead of quantity.
